Sport'n Style: 24 Hours In...

I would say I'm far from fashionable, especially when it comes to "regular" clothes. However, being active and working in active jobs means I sometimes have to think outside the box to be able to get through one day without carrying a suitcase full of shoes, clothes, bags and food!

So I put together my perfect outfit, for 24 hours in an active day of my life! This post was inspired by the "24 Hours In..." link party being hosted by London Bloggers (check out the intro post here).

My 24 Hours:

- Morning Yoga Class
- A Shift At Work
- Evening Drinks

All 3 of my outfits are based around one pair of pants; in this case a pair of full length black Wunder Unders from lululemon.

Morning Yoga Class

In an ideal world, I'm a morning person. I'd love to get back into yoga so I see it as a great way to start a day. For this outfit, I teamed the pants with a loose fitting slogan tee from Sweaty Betty, the free to be *WILD bra from lululemon whilst remembering to stay hydrate and pack a healthy snack for post class. I also always carry my own yoga mat for hygiene reasons and in this case to ass a little colour to my morning!

A Shift At Work

After yoga, I throw on my trainers and switch my top for something a little more smart casual. This vest (lululemon) is actually a really light knit making it perfect for the summer days (that we expect)! Love a little bit of monochrome too; it's timeless!

Evening Drinks

Works done, and it's worth enjoying the rest of the evening having dinner and drinks with friends. I picked up these boots in the New Look sale for £13 last week! They look like they will be super comfy due to the chunky heel and will be versatile for wearing with dresses too. I added a light bomber jacket (lululemon) to the outfit to help smarten it up a bit! The mesh detail makes it look extra special!

Until the 24 hour tube starts running, I'm gonna have to make a dash for the last Central Line train sometime around midnight ;)

How do you take your outfits from the studio to the streets?!

  3. I love how you have done this, I am guilty of using black as my go to for dressing up after work. I think I might go to New Look tomorrow!

  6. I need that sports bra so much! I wish I could justify the price of lululemon, the quality looks second to none and the items are so original, unfortunately student life doesn't quite fund that! I'll just have to live vicariously through you...

    1. I feel ya Kirsty! If I wasn't working there I wouldn't be in a position to afford as much either! I rely on the quality so that I don't have to buy so much! and have learnt to stick to classic styles so they don't go out of fashion and I don't fall out of love with them (cue black leggings!) lol

Thanks for stopping by Kirsty :) xoxo

  7. Love how you built these outfits all around one core piece (especially Wunder Unders, which are brilliant)! Such a great idea for not having to carry too much stuff on the go. x

    1. Thanks Lesli :) this is like my favoriteist (new word!) outfit right now!! haha! Black leggings use to be a staple in my wardrobe as a kid! ...they say you always go back to the first outfit you picked (usually in relation to a night out rather than your childhood though!) hahaha! xoxo

  8. I love your outfits! I've had my eye on that Lululemon bra for ages now - they do it in a pale lilac with stripy straps which I love! I have similar packing dilemmas and often look like I'm going camping when I'm traipsing around London with an enormous backpack. By the time I've packed all my lunch etc it really is a bit ridiculous! I might try stream-lining like you (although unfortunately I can't wear my yoga trousers to work, that's the dream!) Bex xx

    1. The only thing about lululemon is if you see something you like, if you don't snap it up quick it'll be gone!! last year this bra was hard to come by but currently there seems to be a new colour every week! ...the streamlining also helps look after my shoulder which has to carry said shoes, clothes, food ...and it becomes too heavy otherwise! ...and I realise how lucky I am being able to wear stretchy pants to work! #ThisIsTheLife :) x
