With just about two weeks to go before the Glöanna Yoga Run on September 14th it was time to put some training in…and by training, I mean (as so titled) some hoola hooping and yoga 😉
Located in Covent Garden, the Lululemon showroom provided a fantastic outdoor space for us all to get our training on…
We kicked off with the lovely Marawa spinning her hoola hoops AND teaching us a thing or two about it! It’s a great workout for the core and when done correctly barely takes much movement! We span hoops on our waists…and our arms…then our waist AND our arms (both arms!!) yikes!

When it came to yoga time…Glöanna Dani put us through our paces! I think it was a combination of the fact I haven’t been to yoga in such a long time added to the quick paced class and advanced moves! Made me realise I have a long way to go to my dream of being a yoga teacher as well as showing me how much my flexibility had regressed in the past couple of months 🙁 sad times!
I had a great evening at the training event; it inspired me and got me even more excited for THE actual event in just a couple of weeks! It’ll be
fantastic, no, amazing… GLÖ-Mazing!
