“Mighty oaks from little acorns grow”
– Just over a year ago, I had no idea where Keep it simpElle would be by October 2013; but what I do know is that I’ve worked damn hard to make this a success and sticking to my aspirations of inspiring, motivating and empowering the world…maybe one person at a time…but like the phrase above says…
I completed the Supple Strength course in August and decided I would love to get a group together to trial the class. The biggest part of the jigsaw however, was securing a venue…so when The Workshop at O2 answered my prayers via Twitter, I had a feeling we could all pull this off!

So on Wednesday October 9th, 17 lovely ladies came together in London to test run the class as a result of my invitation via the Save the Date, London blog post!
The schedule looked a little like this:
Before I continue…I have A LOT of thank you’s for everyone who supported this event. For now, it’s a group ‘Thank You’ but over the next few weeks each and every one of them will get their individual spotlight and you can learn more about them (or click each name for more info right now!) and why I love ’em so much (if you don’t already know)!

I think I will let the pictures do the talking first…

The entire collection of pictures will be added to Facebook shortly so mosey on over, hit “like” and peruse!
And here is a little of the feedback I received…
“Elle’s class was by far one of the best all over body workouts I’ve been to… I woke up with every place sore! So clearly Elle got it spot on!” Bose
“Would have loved a pigeon pose at the end to stretch my hips out and relax a bit more at the end of the class” Leah
“I had fun and enjoyed it! It was a hard workout, but also not toooo taxing which was quite nice for a midweek class. I can feel my triceps today” Leah
“…she dished out what felt like hours of plank poses – but when you’re laughing through the burn how can you be mad at someone?” Jen
“The choice of music was funky and fresh; 10 seconds in and I knew it wouldn’t be easy. I learnt lots of new exercises which will help me with my core stability. The class was challenging but non impact, leaving us pounding our butt cheeks in mercy!” Shirley
“…it was quite inspiring to see that a really challenging workout can be done with absolutely no equipment…I just mopped my floors and could feel my abs hurting… so I KNOW it was a good workout” Kiera
“I couldn’t always hear your instruction/ see you demonstrate but I think that was simply down to the size of room and number of people in it as I know you were doing it, and started demonstrating in the middle of the room which really helped” Kiera
Attendee’s on the evening still stand to win two prizes as a result of participating…
1. A pair of Zaggora Long HotPants
2. A pair of Yurbuds Inspire Headphones
One winner will be chosen for Best Class Feedback, and one for Best Sponsor Photo using the contents of their goody bags as props! Those winners will be announced later today so keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook Page and Twitter! I’ll also be adding their photo’s from the evening to the Facebook album so be sure to check it out!
I’m so pleased that everything went off without a (major*) hitch and I’m looking forward to running more classes / workshops in the future!
Until then…keep living the simpElle life!
Elle 🙂 x
*Unfortunately, the WheyHey protein ice cream delivery didn’t turn up in time for the event! But I’m sure they will be there next time!
