April is here. Spring has sprung. Maybe, not quite, but hey! New beginnings all the same! The clocks have gone forward all over the world (where applicable) and we are anticipating more daylight, sunshine and flowers….
A fresh start.
1. Weekly Schedule: Yoga 1 – 3x, Run to plan (weeks 3 – 6), Reformer 1x, Other 1x
Week 1: reformer, spinning, run training
Week 2: yoga, run training, spinning, yoga
Week 3: spinning, capoeira, spinning, reformer, kettlebell training
Week 4: yoga, run training, kettlebell training, cycle commuting
Not enough yoga. Not enough running. But I’ve landed at a happy medium. This is what happens when life / work gets in the way! That’s why I aim high – then when you don’t quite meet all your goals, you’ve still done a good job! I’m happy with what I have done…would have loved to have done more!
I did a 5km run one evening, followed by a spin class! That was before I was confirmed for The London Duathlon but I guess that can count as my first multi-sport training. I got my energy from a coffee. Noted.
2. Attend Park Run 1x (or any other run club)
I pulled a muscle in my neck. In bed. Which spasmed my back! This was the day before I was due to go to run club which couldn’t then happen. Does Barry’s Bootcamp count as a run club?!
3. Full Body Foam Rolling 2x per week
Nope. Rolling (no pun intended!) this one over to April though…
Extras: Confirm a Race, Devise a Yoga Home Practice, Visit Osteopath regarding Knee, Left Hamstring and Neck
- Liveability 5km on Apri 26th confirmed
- London Duathlon on 14th September confirmed
- 2 appointments attended at British School of Osteopathy about knee / hamstring
Focus Forward to April…
