Hello August. 

This was the plan for July: 

July 2014 Goals 

1. Weekly schedule: duathlon training to plan, crossfit 1x, yoga 1-2x, reformer 1x, spin 1x 

2. Prepare for and begin Whole 30 programme

3. Cycle commute 1-3x per week


1. Weekly Schedule: duathlon training to plan, crossfit 1x, yoga 1-2x, reformer 1x, spin 1x

Week 1: yoga, reformer, barry’s bootcamp. crossfit, city cycle, yoga
Week 2: lower body workout, run club, barry’s bootcamp, duathlon training event, crossfit
Week 3: yoga, run club, bunny bootcamp
Week 4: run club, crossfit
Week 5: reformer, NTC Run to Train, run club, NTC kettlebells

I’m pretty happy with my workouts for the month. I’ve really been focusing on getting in the right training for my duathlon. I now need to get really specific and include more BRICK sessions. I’ve got a great one coming up – run to spin class, do class, run as far back home as possible.

2. Prepare for and begin Whole30 programme

3. Cycle commute 1-3x per week 

The weather has been amazing so I have had no excuse not to cycle! I’m hoping for continued good weather in August so I can keep up the cycle commuting and maybe get out on a long ride or two!

2. successfully complete 1st Whole30 


3. cycle commute 2 – 4x per week 


4. plan of day for duathlon – travel to / from, energy sourcing during event, outfit chosen, bike spare parts

Nice and simpElle, eh?!

Later in the month, I also have a couple of local organised 10km runs which I am taking part in. The plan is to cycle to them, again to get used to the multi-sport element of the duathlon and also ensure I am up to running 10km again!

    You are smashing it! I need to set some goals for August. It's a bit daunting sometimes I don't know where to start!

      Thanks Steph :)I'd suggest just making two or three smaller goals for the month! Once you get in the swing of it, you'll think up a thousand goals you would love to achieve!
