As the Fitness Expert for the Cancer Research UK London Winter Run taking place on February 1st 2015, I was lucky enough to lead a special class and run for a private group in celebration. The session took place on the London Eye, followed by a short run around the River Thames taking in a closer view of the sights.
The London Eye flight is just 30 minutes long; we managed to work up a sweat with drills including press ups, squat jacks, high knees and mountain climbers. All whilst taking in the view as we ascended and descended across the London Skyscape.
After our pod session, we hit the streets for a short 2.5km run – 1/4 of the distance we’ll be completing in February. A nice casual pace kept us warm as the 1st December marked a noticeable change in the temperature!
