A Response To: “Great, But What Is Your Message?”

A Letter To The Fitness Industry

My message is that I empathise with you.

When I’m at the front of a room full of strangers, I feel the same feels. I feel the self doubt, the low confidence, the apprehension.

When you come to me and say “this is my first time in this class” I feel the same feels; fear of the unknown, what it took to decide to do the class and then actually turn up.

When I’m telling you to “keep going” it’s because I know I would need to hear that.

When I say “you got this” it’s because I know that you can do it, and if you can do it, I can do it – you’re my inspiration.

When I say “We’re done! You smashed that workout!”, I’m in awe of everything you gave, your determination and your trust in me.

When you come back the following week, I hope it’s because you know we’re on the same page. I want you to feel too …feel good, feel happy, feel strong, feel confident… be in the moment.

Elle 🙂
