After my first ‘Elle Loves’ post went down so well, I decided to do one for May and then June (or actually July) became a Wimbledon Special Edition to mark this awesome event! Featuring some of my favourite products I have tried this month in all different categories – workout gear, food and gadgets!
1. What’SUP Hat
This hat from lululemon UK makes it onto the list for a few reasons; number 1 being it protects and shades you from the sun. It’s a versatile number too – can be worn for running, watching Wimbledon matches, and if you take it paddle boarding there’s no risk of it sinking to the bottom of the sea as it floats! So far, I’ve mostly worn mine on bad hair days or when I’m really tired and require no eye contact with other human beings when travelling on public transport.
2. Robinsons SQUASH’D*
In the heat, its more important than ever to stay hydrated. Drinking plain ‘ol water on its own can be boring. I carry a bottle of SQUASH’D in my handbag to jazz up my water! Robinson’s have been sponsoring Wimbledon for 80 years now and kindly sent me one of their limited edition bottles of SQUASH’D.
Limited Edition Tennis Robinsons SQUASH’D capsules (66ml) are available now at all major supermarkets in three flavours: Summer Fruits, Orange & Peach and Apple & Blackcurrant. (RRP: £2.49)
3. Olympus PEN E-PL7
If you’re gonna venture out to Wimbledon or just hang out somewhere awesome to watch the matches, you wanna get some good pictures right?! I recently bought the Olympus PEN E-PL7; it’s been marketed as the perfect blogging accessory. Olympus themselves though have heavily focused on fashion and beauty bloggers (the camera has a flip down screen perfect for taking selfies) but I think it’ll work just as well for Health & Fitness bloggers and would love to see them think outside the box a little with their promotions!
Keep an eye on my photography over the coming months to see how I get on with it!
4. Be Free Runsie
I love when one piece makes up your whole outfit. And what better than a playsuit to aptly named for the occasion, ‘runsie’, from lululemon UK. The fabric is light and made for sweating in. With the weather we’ve been having in London, you’ll sweat just sitting still so this is the perfect outfit for keeping you comfortable!
5. Acquablend Water Infusion Bottle*
Last but not least, here’s another way to freshen up your hydration! This water bottle comes with a built in compartment to store fruit which then infuses flavour into your water. My favourite combination so far has to be plain old lemon! Other ingredients I have loved to use include mint, blueberries, strawberries, ginger and cinnamon sticks. The world really is your infused oyster here…
