It’s basically March 2018 now and I have your next FREE desktop calendar download ready for you! Can you actually believe that?!
For me, it means that my exam period is right around the corner. Although I only have one module this term, it’s not been the most exciting module (Research Methods) so I’ve found it difficult to engage with. Add to that the fact my final two weeks of lectures are not happening due to strike action by our lecturers, I have to answer all my own anxious questions myself.
Last term, I found that having a relatively clear diary in the weeks leading up to my exam gave me enough time to do my usual procrastinating and prepare well enough. And it paid off, as I’m very happy with my marks from my first term so plan on maintaining them.
I’ve found it difficult to explain to others though why I can’t say yes to events and socialising. Why I don’t have money (although I’m using a student loan, the way it works is that the University takes the money from me, before I get money from the Student Loan Company which is a killer on a gals cash flow at times!) and I think some have found it hard to understand why this is so important to me. So while everyone is practicing a year of yes, I’m over here saying no.
Blogging is my connection to the outside world during this time so I will still be here and on my social media channels as much as my time allows. I get a full 4 weeks off after this though… See y’all on the other side!
Angela went above and beyond to create these wallpapers, one for each month in 2018 featuring prompts to remind you to take care of yourself and enjoy yourself in equal measure, all inspired by her Three Good Things blog series. This post is to share March’s download so you can get organised too…
