Hello December. The final month of the entire year. The end of 2014.

This was the plan for November:
1. Weekly schedule: run 1-2x, crossfit 2x, yoga 1x, other 1x

Week 1: hand balancing class, yoga, run club
Week 2: reformer pilates, run club
Week 3: duathlon, crossfit
Week 4: 10km OCR, swimming, tone’n’twerk (dance), yoga rave, run club

My goals changed halfway through the month when I got real to what I really wanted. Learning to swim again has been on my radar for months…years even and I’d put it off. I listed it as one of my goals for 2015 and after I jumped at the opportunity to sign up for a triathlon in June 2015 I thought there really was no time like the present.
This month I also suffered with a wrist injury that I don’t know how I got. It seems to have settled down by itself but that’s taken the entire month. An old knee injury also flared up at the same time which I think was caused by a change in the shoes I have been teaching / training in. In that time I had to be careful what I did so crossfit was off the radar leaving just cycling and running.
Focus Forward to December…
1. Weekly schedule: run to plan, swimming 1x, yoga 1x, other 1x
With 6 or 7 weeks until the London Winter Run, and 8 or 9 weeks until my next half marathon it’s time to start training! I’ve chosen a plan and now need to get it written into my diary. It consists of 3 runs per week which should leave me with time to do all the other things I love to do!

December sees a reduction in my teaching schedule which will also allow me some time to rest yet focus on my own training. I’ll be getting stuck into the Christmas celebrations but keeping a balance and being mindful of my longer term goals.
