Well, hello September! I am kinda sad to see the back of August though as it was a very, VERY successful month for me š I even achieved my best saturday since wearing my FuelBand in March 2012! And not only did I hit my goal a minimum of 4 out of 7 days… I continued an active end to July and hit a 20 day streak! #BOOM! …there were then 4 less active days when traveling and I was back on track…ending the month pretty damn well!
Before I start wittering on…here’s a recap of my goals as I realise I never specify them again each month!

Goal 1: Completed March 2013
My new gym also run Pole classes so I am hoping to make it to some of those in the near future!

Goal 2: I’m pretty sure I have regressed in this specific area! I’ve been working in retail for a while where being on my feet for 9 – 10 hours per day made for tight hamstrings, lower back and hip flexors especially! I did however hit up an aerial yoga class as well as a regular yoga class (Gloanna Run training) just last week! I then completed my Supple Strength Course which was a glorious day of stretching!
Even if I didn’t have time to stretch this month I just about managed to find time to watch the Secrets of Splits and Flexibility DVD to note down all the tips which I shared with you!

Goal 3: This month, I have been doing the FitSugar press up plan. It was a 30 day progressive plan consisting of 4 types of press ups; basic, one legged, push up to t stand and diamond press ups. I managed to complete this challenge which ended with 10 reps of each form of press up for a total of 50 reps. Don’t get me wrong, many of them are the modified versions….but its called progression…
Pull ups…I had a go in an outdoor gym and managed 3. Maybe I haven’t improved…or my upper body was tired…who knows! …We (yes, we are in this together!) will try again next month.

Goal 4: Completed April 2013
I’ve started to get back into running a bit more this month mainly due to the Nike+ running challenges I accepted and the fact that its just so accessible as a form of exercise. Clocking up 20km in August is a 100% increase on July (British 10km Race) so I am happy (although I do have a niggle in my knee that I probably need to get seen to soon).

Goal 5: Add to all the above activity…lots of inspiration and motivation! First of all, a friend spotted my YMCAfit advert in Women’s Fitness Magazine; I ran right out and snapped up a copy! Here it is…
I put my new gym membership to good use too! I’m loving the classes! So far I have hit up kettlebells, aerial yoga, bikini me, stretch to destress and Ragga! Ragga was just as inspiring this time round, aerial yoga was great to undo all the standing up and kettlebells…well, have you tried my challenge?!Ā
I’ll also be teaching Nike Training Club – Train to Run over at Regents Park on 21st and 28th September so ladies if you are free come join me š You can check out my teaching schedule on the Get In Touch Page (and booking details).
Oh and flaming Nora…almost forgot! I GOT A NEW JOB!! ..stay tuned for full details soon…. oooo the suspense! haha!
Here are my goals for September:
1. Meet my NikeFuel goal 4 out of each 7 days
2. Complete the Gloanna Yoga Run on Saturday 14th September
3. Try 2 new classes
4. Attend yoga once per week (minimum)
5. Stretch 3 times per week (minimum)
