Update Your Top Workout Tracks

Anytime is a good time to update my playlists for working out. At the moment, I mostly use music when I’m teaching and when I get lazy (a lot) I just put my old iPod touch on shuffle so never know what track is gonna drop next! I never know if those in my class enjoy the music; they never complain so I can only assume that no news is good news?!

When I was asked to write a sponsored post about my favourite workout tracks, I initially declined; I’m just not that on top of music and these days don’t even run with music / podcasts / external sounds!

So to freshen things up a bit, I did what I do best! I took to Facebook and Twitter to find out what tracks are at the top of your playlists and am sharing my favourite responses with you here!

    Do your clients give you any hint what kind of music they would prefer? I often ask them but they anwer with "whatever" or it doesn't matter. They don't seem to hate the music I like but I would really like to choose ones they like, music that motivates them. They never answer my question 🙁

      Plus we have to remember that there would be so many different tastes in one class! I just tend to check the top chart songs, choose the most upbeat tracks and then mix them with some older favourites. Asking your friends / followers on social media is a good way too (as I did here!) then my premise is that if I like the song, it reflects in my vibe when teaching which hopefully rubs off on the peeps in my class 🙂 win, win?!

      Great question! Definitely something I have been looking into as well with just starting group classes. I will check out some of the billboards. 🙂 Definitely a win, win, Elle!
