    Fourteen years ago this month, I started keep it s Fourteen years ago this month, I started keep it simpElle 🥰✨

Back in 2012, I really had no idea where it would take me.

A blog became online classes. Online classes became personal training. Then running coaching. Menopause coaching. Cycling. Swimming. A community of women who have reminded me, time and time again, that movement doesn’t have to be punishing to be powerful.

And the studio?

It’s had a few homes over the years, eh! 😅

🏠 My living room in my flat
🏢 A dedicated studio in Loughton.
🍽️ My dining room when we moved house
🌿 And now… its forever home at the end of my garden.

This isn’t the big reveal. That can wait.

This is just me taking a moment to appreciate how far this lil business of mine has come 🥹

Fourteen years later, I’m still here. Still helping women get stronger. Still believing fitness should fit around your life, not take it over.

Here’s to the next chapter. 🤍

    No-one could ever accuse me of not trying, eh?! Sw No-one could ever accuse me of not trying, eh?! Swim Serpentine and the London Classics medal has got me out here moving mad 😝🤪 lol

With just a couple of months until I toe the water for the 1/2 mile challenge, it was about time to get some open water experience. My wetsuit got its second outing in less than a week and my new @zone3official Vapour goggles (gifted) got their first 👌🏾

Ngl, the water was choppy 🌊 and so damn cold 🥶 it took me forever to warm up, even neoprened up! And doubling up to 50m from 25m was a push for me too; I’ve noticed that my mind gives up before my body does so I’m gonna keep working on that 🙌🏾

So yeah, I might not be the most confident, the strongest or fastest in the room, but I’m IN the room 🙏🏾 see you in the water ✨ 🏊🏾‍♀️

Did it take me a week to get out for my second Couch to 5K run? Yep.

Did I still get out? Also yep.

I’m learning to give myself ✨GRACE ✨ because life happens. Sometimes you miss a run. Sometimes you miss seven. The only thing that really matters is what you do next.

This one was even better because I got to run with a couple of my West Essex Runners crew, while the little ones zoomed alongside (well, abead of) us on bikes and scooters. ❤️

My goal...?! Just keep showing up. That’s GOOD ENOUGH 🙏🏾✨

    Sometimes I think I endure my entire swimming less Sometimes I think I endure my entire swimming lesson just so I can do some dive practice at the end 🤪 but if I’m honest, my weekly lesson is one of the highlights of my week 🥲

This time last year, I couldn’t even jump in the water, never mind dive after weeks / months of a mental block. And before that, I screamed every time I did 😂🤣😂

Last night was our first time diving from the blocks 🙌🏾 I had 2 attempts before this one and obv I didn’t record the 10/10 no notes dive I after this one 😝🤷🏾‍♀️ next time!

If you’ve been telling yourself you wanna start swimming lessons, this is your sign ✨ I can barely string 2 lengths together but I’m getting more and more comfortable every time I’m in the water 🥰
