Turns out the “error” part of trial and error is a Turns out the “error” part of trial and error is actually compulsory 😂 Tried a brand new route for today’s Gravel Ride Out and, naturally, we had a few… plot twists. So, a few disclaimers for all future rides: 🚲 The route is a guide. Gravel has a habit of changing the plans. 🚲 Wrong turns are not wrong turns. They’re ✨bonus gravel✨. 🚲 All trails lead to home 🤷🏾‍♀️😝 For me, that’s part of the joy of gravel. Exploring new routes, figuring things out as we go, occasionally staring at the map wondering WTF Strava wants from us, and having an adventure with an awesome group of women while we’re at it. Sometimes the hardest part of training is just get Sometimes the hardest part of training is just getting yourself there. And when I’m on my period? That feeling can DOUBLE. 😅 But one thing I’m learning is that moving my body usually makes me feel better, even on the days when I really can’t be arsed. And swimming has become one of those things I knooooow I’ll be glad I did once I’m in the water. The next women’s gravel ride out powered by @livcyclinguk is happening Saturday 15 August, starting from GAIL’s Loughton. 📍 Meet at GAIL’s Loughton ⏰ 9:45am to roll out at 10am 🐌 No-drop, social pace.
