Way back in 2012, when I was unable to wear activewear to work due to my office job, I created a little space on the internet called ‘keep it simpElle’. That was now 8.5 years ago… and the very first post I published was entitled “What I Do”.
Well after almost 9 years, I figured it might be time to update this post and reintroduce myself along with my passion project – this blog. A lot has changed, and hopefully you didn’t, but did, kinda notice that ‘keep it simpElle’ has had a facelift.
New Look For My Brand
Over the Summer of 2020, I had plenty of time to really figure out what I wanted from my career and where I wanted to go next, after completing my MSc in Management & Business Innovation.
The blog has become a huge part of who I am and what I do, so I rebranded then implemented the rebrand across the blog, my social channels and all content that I put out into the Universe.

My Background in Sport Development
Back in 2012, I worked full time as the Academy Development Officer at London South Bank University. It was a Sport Development role where I managed the Elite Athlete Scheme, worked closely with the Operational team as well as oversaw the Sports Ambassador Scheme and Student Sport from afar.
How I Started Fitness Coaching
I started my foray into teaching through Nike Training Club (NTC). I lead classes at LSBU from late 2010. From there, I became more and more involved with the Nike Women’s Training team, eventually working for Nike themselves, delivering classes at their stores and in location across London.
How I Keep Active
In those days I had just begun running, loved attending Bikram yoga classes and Pilates as often as I could, as well using my Wii Fit to do Zumba and other sports in the comfort of my own living room.
Nowadays, you’ll more often find me on my bike, running or working out at home. So although a fair bit has changed, in some ways nothing has changed.
More About Me
Currently, I work as a Fitness Professional which encompasses my own classes, and classes I lead for other brands / organisations. I also work as a Movement Expert / Consultant for BIamother (and their Parent company) – a coaching app for expectant and new mothers.
Outside of that, I guess you could call me an Influencer – but typically, I’m just sharing what I do professionally whilst using the opportunity to work with brands (so I can continue to create free content here on the blog).
As part of the re-brand I also rewrote my entire About Page to document and celebrate this epic journey of mine in more detail.
If you’ve been keeping an eye on my content over the years, then Thank You for your support!
If you’re newer round these sides, Welcome! And I can’t wait to get to know more about you!
