Chobani Berry Banana Smoothie

So y’all remember a couple months ago when I told you all about my new discovery…Chobani?! …Yes?! …cool… No?! still cool.

Well, last night, I joined Chobani and some lovely peeps (mostly tweeps) for an awesome indoor cycling class at BOOM! Cycle in Shoreditch.

I’ll talk to you more about class another time, but after our workout we refuelled with a real tasty Chobani smoothie which I just had to share with you!

Berry Banana Smoothie

Prep time: 5 mins
Cook time: 0 mins
Servings: 2

You will need:

225g Strawberry Chobani strained yoghurt
115g fresh or frozen raspberries
2 ice cubes (optional)
1 ripe banana
2 tbsp honey (optional)

Method
Puree Chobani, raspberries, ice, banana and honey in a blender until smooth and serve.

Nutrition
Calories: 160

I’m pretty sure the one we had yesterday skipped the banana, probably the honey and was just as tasty (with a few less calories too!) …And with 10g of protein per serving it’s a fab post workout fuel to help you recover to go hard again…tomorrow?!

Happy Recovery peeps & tweeps!

  1. I’m actually one of those that like Greek Yogurt : ) and I really love honey (and consider it to be health food) so this recipe really sounds great.I would add a bit extra protein but otherwise it sounds like a delicious and functional post workout drink!Who doesn’t like smoothies : )Found you on Fitness Friday and glad I did!Chrishttp://www.mavrocatstrength.com

    1. Hey Chris 🙂 Thanks for stopping by! …haha! Some versions of greek yoghurt are defo more appealing than others! Chobani is one of my fav's for sure! …I agree with you about honey too! I have actively cit down on all sweeteners but honey or agave syrup are my go to in situations where it's necessary! and good shout about extra protein…if you need it, it would be senseless not too 🙂 I have popped over to your site a couple of times too 🙂

  2. I might give it a try. I really don't like Greek yogurt but this might be okay. Thanks for the recipe.
