Guys, as tough as student life has been the past 6 months, in between all the lectures, reading and revision it definitely has some perks. I have been living the Van Wilder life since Sixth Form tbh (if you know, you know) so I am well versed in where you can and can’t use your student discount and have picked out my favourite spots to eat well from the whole lot to share with you…
Where to use your student discount // and eat healthy
Leon Restaurants: the few times I have posted this on Instagram someone has always commented to say they didn’t know! …Leon is one one my favourite “fast food” outlets for on the go. I can highly recommend their fish finger wrap and the oven baked fries (which for some reason never arrive hot! …but they’re still good).

Itsu: my go to sushi place offers student discount after 3pm. Sometimes you can get away with it a little earlier; I’ve never understood why it has to be time restricted… do students only get hungry in the late afternoon / evening?!
Planet Organic: not exactly for the typical student budget but if you like good quality food, or have specific dietary needs this is a good spot to pick up the hard to find ingredients. The one located near my campus also does an awesome student lunch deal for about a £5 so you can have a proper (and healthy) meal when you take a break from the library!
MyProtein: for all your healthy, online fitness needs. And peanut butter tubs you can fit your head in. They regularly have sales with massive discounts anyway but for those desperate in between times the student discount (via UNiDAYS or Student Beans) is pretty decent anyway.
Yo! Sushi: because damn, I love sushi. Yo! is more expensive than Itsu though so I prefer it as an eat in option. You also have to sign up with them specifically then they send you a code which you show in the restaurant. Look out for some restrictions on the days you can use it too.

Obviously you don’t have to be a student to eat at any of my recommended food spots and if you are a student, I suggest asking everywhere if they offer student discount just in case as many places don’t promote it at all.
And while I’m here, I’d love to say a Huge Thank You to Natasha and Ian who have both Guest Posted on the blog for me while I have been knee deep in books and revision for my exams! Natasha shared what you should look for when hiring a Personal Trainer and Ian shared an awesome kit list for taking on an Obstacle Course Race!
Any must visit spots you would add to the list?!

Ha! …Itsu is always the one that no-one knows about! Happy to be of service lol 🙂 x
