I don’t remember exactly when this all happened or in which order but:
*My stopwatch broke
*I learnt to time drills without a stopwatch
*My timing became akin to Transport for London (how long can 1 min really be?!)
I have become renowned for unspecific timing especially when distracted with conversation while teaching!
But recently I’ve been running my sessions like a BOSS! …although it seem’s more like all the peeps in my sessions have been running the sessions now cos they can see the time on my waistband…on my GYMBOSS timer!
Timing couldn’t have been more perfect…no pun intended! A timer that you can set the intervals?! With various notification alarms that I could choose?! Audible and non audible?!
I hit up Victoria Park and I think they were secretly pleased. As soon as they heard the beep to signal the end of each 20 second section of Tabata they stopped. I loved it as it took just a minute or so to set the interval timer up (once I got the hang of it!) and then when I just wanted to keep an eye on the time, it had a stopwatch function too as well as the actual time!

A good example of a workout you could utilise the GYMBOSS interval timer with is my Quick & SimpElle Workout #1. Intervals of 1 minute and 30 seconds can be set to repeat 8 or 16 times depending on your fitness levels. Check out the Drill Pack Page for a choice of workouts!

The guys over at GYMBOSS have generously provided me with 3 GYMBOSS regular interval timers (one silver, black and pink camo!!) which is perfect for working out at home, outdoors (they have a removable waistband clip!) or in the gym!
