All done. 30 more days in the bag.
It’s been a struggle though. Plenty of SWYPO has gotten me through the month. But plans are already in the making to do round three starting early January! Are you in?!
I have some pictures to share which will sum up the rest of my Whole30 experience:
Here’s a recipe I adapted (mostly converting the measurements) for tomato ketchup. A nice little condiment to jazz up your meals. I also use it as part of the base when I cook minced meat.
During the final 3 or so days, I felt a little run down. This coincided with the drastic change in weather and the germs that are going around on public transport. I dosed up with a juice here and there. This was one of my favourites to help keep my iron levels up, plus giving me a vitamin c boost!
Then….THEN, I came across this recipe! The most unbelievable recipe of all! A Whole30 bread! Yup! I had to try it and made a breakfast sandwich with a fried egg, bacon, avocado and tomato sauce. It was so very filling. The link to the recipe is on my Pinterest!
After that, I found a recipe for Whole30 Banana Muffins which I made into mini loafs! Moist and sweet enough without any added sugar makes me wonder why I’ve ever added sugar to banana loafs in the past! I even shared a couple of these little beauties! And again, the recipe is on my Whole30 board on Pinterest!
This final picture is of my last Whole30 meal. On a day I didn’t feel very well and very nearly packed it all in for a Whole29! But I stuck it out and enjoyed it! Looking for inspiration, I scoured the entire spice aisle and found a tikka masala spice mix with no sugar. I substituted the cream for some coconut milk and ta-dah! A new meal to add to my repertoire!
So, are you joining me in January?!

Those mini banana loaves look awesome! 😀
They really were yummy! Don't think I'll ever go back to a "regular" banana loaf when these are so tasty and sin free! 🙂 x
