Got a tub of greens powder and no idea how to use it?! This green smoothie recipe was created using the Nature’s Plus Ultra Juice Green Powder, sweetened naturally with mango and banana.

I can’t tell you how many bags or tubs of green powders I have probably owned and never used. Greens powders usually have such strong flavours… like really green flavours from ingredients such as spirulina.
Back in 2016, when I was running Borrow My Blender – my cute pop up smoothie business – I was challenged to come up with 3 recipes for 3 new products being launched by Nature’s Plus. The first recipe was a Piña Colada smoothie using this pea protein and now I’m sharing with you the second recipe – aptly named So Fresh & So Green.
Obviously I’m biased, but I think this is one of the best green smoothie recipes you will find. I have another one to share soon which uses spinach, cucumber and celery instead of super greens powder.
What Are Powdered Greens?
Typically, greens powders are supplements made from greens, vegetables, seaweed, probiotics, digestive enzymes and more. The Ultra Juice Green powder used in this recipe blends 20 power-packed wholesome organic green fruits and vegetables and 7 powerful revitalizing marine and aquatic superfoods. Each serving also supplies 14 essential vitamins and minerals, as well as enzymes and healthful probiotics.
So adding greens powder really makes this recipe a super greens smoothie!
