If you’re looking for an easy way to clean your bike, then this 3 step process is simple enough for even the most mechanically averse of us out there! Here are the basics on how to clean your bike…

I recently did a collaboration on Instagram with Muc-Off, a brand whose products I already used to keep my bike clean and sparkly. Anyway, we all know content on Instagram doesn’t live long and I figured it would me more valuable to share here on the blog.
The Clean, Protect, Lube Process
I’ve been a fan of Muc-Off products since I started cycling. Their simple CLEAN, PROTECT, LUBE process helps me keep my bike looking fresh and running smoothly.
I took my bike out into the carpark so I could share the sunshine with you, but typically I clean my bike in my bathtub of my very tiny bathroom in my flat!
Here’s what I used and how:
Step 1: Nano Tech Bike Cleaner couldn’t be simpler! Spray it on your entire bike frame and leave for up to 5mins for the formula to activate. Then use a soft brush or sponge to agitate it and rinse with cold water. Voila!

Step 2: Next up, I used MO94 to protect all the important parts and drive out any remaining moisture to stop rust. I sprayed it onto any metal and moving parts; it gives a beaut shine to the frame and adds a protective layer. If you have disc brakes, make sure you cover them first!

Step 3: Last but not least, I used Bio Dry Lube. Once you ensure your drive chain area is dry, apply a moderate amount of this lube to the inside chain link while spinning pedals in a reverse motion. Then wipe away any excess chain lube with a micro fibre cloth.
