How To Remove Your Image Background

Holy Smoke! I never knew removing the background from an image could be so easy, so quick and also free! Every time I scroll through FB someone is asking how to do it and the usual suggestions are given such as photoshop. But for those of us who don’t have photoshop… I came across this site – remove.bg – and it’s soooo simple to use. You upload your photo (or enter a url) click the button and within 5 seconds, your image is perfectly, background free.

You can see my before and after images above when I tested it out. I’ve previously used Canva and spent ages searching for images with white backgrounds so that they would look seamless. You can see one example in this post.

Also, who’s updated to the new WordPress editor?! I thought I had avoided it but then my host updated it for me automatically a few days after it launched. I can’t say I love it, but who instantly loves change?! I’ve found it to be a bit slow and tedious so I’ve been using the classic editor as much as possible. I’m sure in no time we will barely remember what the 4.XX versions were about!

Let me know if you’re gonna find this tool handy…

Great tip! I wanted to try to learn to love the Gutenburg editor, but it was so slow I activated the classic plug-in ,,,,

I’m with you on the new WP. My host automatically added the classic editor plug in. I’m kinda grateful but then it means it’ll take me longer to get over the change! haha!
